1. Data source:

NBP1201 Event log data: eventlog.pdf, eventlog.xls;
NBP1201 Navigation data.

2. Method:

Event location, plotted and shown in the info box,  is the ship location at the event time indicated in the log book (.xls file). If difference between location found   and  location indicated in the log book was not reasonable, the primary data (.pdf)  was checked to exclude typos and to correct the data.

3. Difference in location - Log book and navigation:

If typos or discrepancies have been found, data was corrected (by program, not the data file) and then locations difference was calculated for each instrument; corresponding files are located in the directory:
/prism/events/notes/

4. Typos and discrepancies found:

VPR:
   event #135, VPR recovery  day seems to be 17, not 16 (.xls and. pdf have both day=16);
   event #376, VPR Start/End code should be E (END), not S (START);

MVP:
   event #57: does not have date and time; for now this data was taken from the previous
event (XBT24, nbp12101056) and should be verified later;
   event #265:   Start/End code should be E (END), not S (START);
