U.S. JGOFS Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study (BATS)

U.S. JGOFS Synthesis and Modeling Project

OBJECTIVES

      1. Configure 3-D coupled model in the T/P Diamond domain.
      2. Conduct data-driven hindcast simulations 1992-present.
      3. Use the coupled model for retrospective analysis of BATS data.
      4. Diagnose the effects of mesoscale processes on biogeochemistry.
      5. Evaluate the utility of the system for nowcast/forecast operations.
