Hi Dennis, Let me know if there are any remaining problems with Shoestring -- My sense is that we may not be able to totally ascertain what happened. You may want to check to make sure nothing can rest or press against the front faceplates -- there is a bug in early O200's (which shoestring is) that means that a bit of pressure on the faceplate could push the interrupt button. We had one of CIS's machines have that problem when the room got too warm, the expansion of the plastic front-panel meant that the reset button would become pushed. Anyway, try to make sure there's no way anyone can brush against the front, even with the door closed... Enjoy the science, and the whales, hope you brought your camera (and fishing rod). Oh, and here's an interesting one -- I applied for the CIS director's job. Not sure whether or not the search committee will consider me more than a brief "huh" but given some recent turns of events, I felt it was essential...I guess we'll see!
