EN435 SCS and other notes

CTD012-028 Winch 1 tension values not correct. Stainless keeper bar for load cell axle fell off sheave mount. Load cell shifted resulting in low tension values. After CTD028 keeper bar reinstalled with longer screws.

Bottom depth: Knudsen value = ADCP value + ~7m
Knudsen Echosounder barcheck sound velocity = 1495. Sound velocity Value changes w/ depth and inshore/offshore location.
range of depths from ~7m at dock to ~800m max.

Furuno	mostly 2 rarely to 1 (427for first part of each day), never to 0

Heading value example values:

ADU2 flag usually 0 and very frequently goes to 1, as during EN425 & EN426.
ADU2 BRMS often to 9.999 otherwise 0.005 to 0.04 or slightly higher
ADU2 MRMS usually 0.001 to 0.004 or slightly higher with frequent spikes out of this range

Speeds ~0-12kts
SMG:
NStar most focused, ADCP(SpdFwdBtm) averaged, thus less spiky, lower than NStar values by ~0.5kts. NavTrac values larger than ADCP by ~0.75kts & larger than NStar by ~0.25kts. NavTrac spiky like EDO(SpdFwdWtr)
NavTrac	10.750	average is higher than NStar by ~.25 kt
NStar	9.800	Most focused
EDO	9.470	Most wild values, real possibly. Compare on station vs steaming.
ADCP75	9.700	averaged value thus less spiky, less than NStar by ~.5 kt
As usual, Air Temp is affected by heading & wind direction due to heat from stack.

28May07 ~2020z (1620 local) BrigeGP & BridgeNav computers: Time updated via Internet Time Server at 192.168.2.8  The computer clocks were 2 min behind the server time.

HiSeasNet worked fine, for the most part. We were out of the footprint for a good signal to the far North East of the cruise track for a couple days. Had to turn off tracking and enter approx Az & El to search for correct satellite a few times towards the end of the cruise. Tested 1360 kbps at end of cruise.
