This directory contains data from Table 7 of: 

Langdon, C., 1988. On the causes of interspecific differences in
growth-irradiance relationships for phytoplankton.  Journal of
Plankton Research 10, 1291-1312.

The four points are from experiments at "light saturating conditions"
and with a 14:10 L:D cycle.  The salinity for these experiments is listed
as between 26.5 and 31.7 and a mean value was used for calculations. Data
are in divisions/day

The data contributes to the temperature relationships and the calculations
of mu_max_calc.m.

The clone used for these experiments was GT-6, which was isolated from
near Cape Ann (Ted Smayda, personal communication).
