Doke Node: Conditions at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Pier
Steve Elgar Britt Raubenheimer

Conditions at the WHOI
Dock
Water temperature, mean currents, and tide level are measured with instruments mounted about 5 m below the water surface on a corner of the WHOI dock (red x below). Mean values are updated hourly.

The current conditions are:

is indicated by the red X.

The measurements are converted to one-hour current vectors for the past 24 hours, and are displayed on a map of the area under the dock in English and metric units.

In addition, hourly mean values of water temperature, current speed and direction, and tide level for the past week are plotted in English and metric units.
