At each of the five CTD stations we took continuous salinity and temperature data along the water column. We also collected discrete water samples at prescribed depths ranging from the surface to 4,684 m.  Additionally we collected bottom water samples at each of the multicoring sites in Niskin bottles attached to the coring frame.
